Professional Areas
Laboratory investigates the innate immune mechanisms of inflammation at molecular and cellular levels. His current research focuses on understanding innate immune sensing of pathogens and endogenous danger signals, inflammasomes, and inflammatory cell death and their roles in infectious and inflammatory disease pathogenesis.
Citation
Internationally recognized seminal contributions to our understanding of how the innate immune system senses infections and mount inflammation.
