Professional Areas

Major area of expertise is food safety and sustainable agriculture. Specifically, research focuses on one health approach using natural and eco-friendly plant-derived compounds and probiotics for mitigating pathogens and antibiotic resistance in the poultry production continuum, thereby enhancing bird health, environmental health and food safety (human health).
