Terri Clark Elected to Honorary Membership in the Academy

East Hartford, CT – The Connecticut Academy of Science and Engineering (CASE) has elected Terri Clark, the Academy’s former executive director, to Honorary Membership. CASE will present the award at its 50th Annual Dinner on May 28th at the University of Connecticut in Storrs.

Throughout her service, she displayed key characteristics of a leader, including enthusiasm and passion for CASE and its mission, integrity, loyalty, decisiveness, and excellent communication and managerial skills. Her accomplishments include revitalizing programs, expanding outreach, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within the organization.

Prior to her work as Executive Vice President of the Connecticut Academy for Education in Mathematics, Science & Technology Inc., Clark held managerial positions at both Merrill Lynch and Transamerica. Clark retired this past December, leaving behind a legacy of resilience and growth, having guided the Academy through a transformative period.

A Connecticut native, Clark holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Political Science from UConn and completed coursework for a master’s degree in American History at Central Connecticut State University. Clark came to CASE with 15 years of experience in the management of a non-profit geared toward the improvement of mathematics and science teaching and learning in Connecticut.
